When should I apply for funding to SAAS...

...and also SLC?
Im starting a PGDE in Scotland in August but not sure when to apply. I dont know what to put down for my husbands income as he is working at the moment but planning on leaving and setting up his own business. Do think we will be assessent on his last years earnings?

As soon as possible though probably best to wait until your husband has his P60 for 2008/09 as it makes things easier. You'll be assessed on 08/09 income but if that drops (or increases) by ~15% you have to inform the funding people and they'll reassess you.
