Ok so brief history
Husband works over 30 hrs
I work under 16 hrs
Both incomes have stayed reletatively the same for past few years
I now have stopped working (was only seasonal) and have just confirmed with TC and they sent me an ammended notice award which finishes in a week or so anyway so no real change
Expect my predicted allowance for next year has now droppped
I only getting £3k per year and our joint TC will now be -£135 a month
I dont understand how this can be and when i try to ring (as usual) its engaged
How can i lose £3k (my wage)and a further £135 per month it dont make sense someone please advise:o

in my experience nothing makes sense with tax credits. I gave up phoning and just wrote letters to ensure I had proof I had notified them of changes. Still no better. I've now emailed my MP about it and he has apparently contacted them.0
