Hi
I am in the process of trying to rent a flat and need some adivce.
I got declared bankrupt last sept.
Since then I have open a new account with co-opertive bank and have my wages paid into there every month and I now live back at my parents house.

THey have told me that they cannot expect my driving licence as proof of id or adress or a bank statement so if I am not on the electroll roll i need a bill as proof of adress as I got delcared bankrupt last sept and moved into my parents I do not have any bills in my name yet is the right???????????

I am applying to rent a flat with my partner that has a good credit history but his anual take home wage is 1000 per year of the requiment for income to rent so i have to apply with him we have got a gauntor that earns 4 times the times the rent and the companys reqiument is 3x but he has only been working for this company for 8mths but is on a perment contract before this job he was at universty. When we spoke to the agent they said that the gauntor only had to be earning 3x the rent nothing about how long he had been at the company. I have tries to ask the agents about this and she keeps saying dont worry about it we will see what comes bck but I am worry that I am going to have paid £170 for the applicant and not get the flat.
Any advice welcome please help...
