I just want to let you all know of my recent experience with SCS.

I bought a suite 6 weeks ago and opted only to pay the deposit (paranoid about them going bust) I was told someone would phone within 6 weeks and then i would pay the balance. Needless to say someone called Wednesday (exactly 6 weeks) and said they could deliver it Friday 3rd April (today) I went to the store the same day and paid the balance. It was delivered at 8am this morning. They brought it in, set it up and took all the rubbish (even offered to take my old suite)

In the days of unreliable companies, crap deliveries and endless customer un-satisfaction its worth noting that SCS really did surprise me and make for a perfect sale and delivery.

I ordered a sofa 6 weeks ago, and after reading comments I decided to go to Thomas Lloyd/sofasofa instead of one of the "big boys".

They promised delivery within 6 weeks max, but said on the phone they could probably deliver within 3-4 weeks. Now 6 weeks later, no suite has been delivered and nobody in the company has any idea when it will be delivered. It definitely won't be here by Easter weekend, even though I told them I needed it by then as I have visitors coming and currently have nothing for them to sit on
