Heathrow to Gatwick Transfer
Comments
-
There's a bus that links the two.
If you want to go by train, you have two cheap options
Piccadilly line to Earls Court,
Then either
District line to West Brompton and the train to Gatwick Airport from there
or
District line to Victoria and Normal train to Gatwick Airport from there.
tfl.gov.uk is a nuisance to use from Heathrow airport as it inevitably sends you down the Heathrow Connect services.
To force it to use the Piccadilly line, put in Hatton Cross instead of Heathrow, it's the stop after Heathrow on the Piccadilly line.0 -
The bus is actually more expensive than that trainfare - £109.50 return for your party
Tube to Victoria then Southern train should be a bit cheaper. The £90 is tube to Victoria plus Gatwick Express.
Cheaper still will be tube to Fulham Broadway then Easybus or even tube to Victoria then national Express bus
It might be worth pricing car transfer services - they could well be competitive0 -
It was coming up with £60 for me on the national express.
There is a family saver card I didn't look into.0
