hello!
i have an old hitachi crt tv which was happily recognising my virgin media box and xbox 360 through scart leads, we could swap between the two with the remote control av button with no hassle
The other day i left the virgin box off at the mains all day and since then my tv will no longer 'see' whats attached by av, i can make the virgin box and dvd player work by playing a dvd or switching the power to the virgin box and it auto switches on, but when i try to turn the 360 on nothing happens and the av switching button no longer works on the remote.
when i check in the tuning section of my tv, it shows the tv and dvd player as being on channel 36 Not Av as it should.
i have tried retuning with no joy, have left everything unpplugged for a few hours and tried again - any ideas whats going on?
its all a bit strange!

Its possible the scart connections on the tv have gone knackered
Is the dvd plugged in via scart too?
Unplug EVERYTHING
Then try one at a time. Virgin box with scart ONLY in all scart sockets (presumably 2)
If that work then do the same with the dvd player (?) and the xbox
Do NOT conenct any aerial leads to the equipment:idea:0
