Speeding - not providing details court appearance - help!

Hi
I need some general advice on what the outcome is likely to be for an appearance in a magistrates court (I think) with the following details.
Doing 35 in a 30 area. Not sure (genuinely) who was driving as in an area we don't know and swapped driving around time concerned on day in question. Said as much when received PCN (was in Thames Valley, so could have gone on course anyway). On second form filled in details section with partners name as was most likely her but said at bottom not 100% sure still. Lots of phone calls and letters in this time trying to sort this out.
So, original speeding thing is dropped? Is this right?
Can anyone help with a prediction of the outcome. I am thinking that if I have filled in details in the details section then how can it be argued that I haven't. Maybe this is wishful thinking?
Thanks all

The registered keeper is obliged to name the driver. If you genuinely do not know who was driving, do not do so. Go to court, and armed with any evidence you can gather (such as fuel receipts, any stops you made, who usually drives etc), tell the magistrate why you are unable to name the driver.
If the magistrate believes you, you should be ok, however they may think you're trying it on. Such is life, you take your chances.
This is how stupid our legal system is, when you're taken to court for being honest.0
