unable to cancel flights - advice please

my daughter has booked 2 flights to Africa in the summer (on my credit card) through a well known internet agency. The (separate) company organising this working holiday has gone bust but ABTA bonded so that's ok but they are stuck with the flights. Company refuse to refund or otherwise alter flights. My credit card company will investigate but I don't hold out much hope. I know the girls should have sorted out the insurance before booking!

Has anyone any experience of getting a refund in this kind of situation?

Well is there any other organisation who do a similar thing ... maybe look at volunteering? Cause I don't see that you will get the money back?
