Reclaiming bank chgs form Barclays (1st letter)

Hi , I have just rvd a reply to my inital letter requesting a summary of charges from Barclays Bank.
The leter I have rcvd came from Cust Svcs in Leicester(Personal Banking)
and only shows a summary of charges there are no specific dates or months detailed, so I assume I cannot work on charging them interest???as the calculator on the site would not work by just entering a year date??
The letter shows the following totals only: total enties , total fees & total refunds.... Do i just ask them for the total minus any refunds they have issued ... ???????

thanks..... rebecca

Might be worth politely telling them that they haven't complied with your SAR since it is meant to include ALL your data or specific statements since 27th July 2001.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

    Dear Natwest staff member

Thanks for your reply, it was really fast. Can I just be a bit ignorant and ask what an SAR is ? Before I go to barclays and mention this to them ?
I want to make sure that I am clear when I speak to them.
    Thanks
    Rebecca
