Currency For Cyprus ?

What currency are we best to take to Cyprus - is it cypirot pound or euros ??? or maybe abit of both - thank you

Take Cypriot Pounds. If you take Euros you will have to change them because the Euro is not the local currency.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Take Cypriot as euro is not due to come in until beginning of 2008.
Also look at bringing sterling as you can get a better exchange rate out here than you do in the uk.0 -

just use your cash card out there in their machines. they have branches of a lot of english banks and your card should work in most of the local machines anyway. don't bother with euro at all0
