how to work out the redundancy payment?

Hi

could anyone shed some light into how to work out what 1/80th of £2.417 is

or what would 1/8th be off the same value, i have no idea what so ever any help would be grateful please

    Lol divide the amount by 80 to get 1/80th

    Same with 1/8th but divide by 8
    Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
