There's no way that figure is really 44% anyway. Look at the source - 'The friends Committee on National Legislation', a pacifist Quaker group.

The figure is high though, just not *that* high.

Well does it really matter if people died in a needless war or a needless aftermath? They are still dead, and it's still needless.

Apologies, I don't really want to get in to this debate as I have nothing but repspect for people who join the forces and serve their country so this isn't me having a knock at them. They are doing I job I wouldn't and couldn't do because I'm not brave enough to do it.

But the 'Operation Iraqi Freedom' campaign is a cr*ck of !!!! that never should have occurred and tens of thousands of innocent people were killed. That's what I THINK is the truth.

Ignoring the the Sadam atrocities and despotism, like gassing the Kurds:eek: I agree that the invasion of Iraq was not for moral reasons though

We did of course sell him the gas when he was our friend. And on moral grounds why not Darfur?

Let's not bother with Iraq though, everyone knows the deal. We'll just have to wait forty years for the truth to come out.

given that the west (US) supported sadam in the 8 year iran iraq war it's hard to take any sort of moral high ground.
