Need Printed Wedding invites and Reply Cards

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere (cheap!) that I could get wedding invites. I wanted the printed ones rather than me writing them. I also need to get some RSVPs/or reply cards. - I just want some plain cream ones that the person fills in - but can't find these anywhere!
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi pinklady, we're getting our invites reply cards, thank you cards printed by this guy lespearse@civilservants.co.uk, he runs the print shop at the UK military prison, sounds odd but he is very versatile (will do whatever you ask for, from traditional printed invites to ones with photos digital images etc in any colour of card or ink) incredibly professional, friendly and helpful and unbelievably cheap. The price will depend on what you want but we have been quoted 55p per invite for a traditional invite. That's cheaper than making your own. You can email and ask for samples, the quality of the card is fantastic and the guys operate a professional press.

    Hi

I have got my invitations from Vistaprint.
    http://www.vistaprint.co.uk

On this site you can design and customise your own stationary. My advice would be to register and save a couple of documents and then leave the site. The company then emails you with special offices and money off deals to entice you back.

I ordered 50 day time invitations for about £35.00 including postage and then was asked if I wanted to order 100 postcards for just the price of shipping which was just over £3.00. I used these postcards for evening invitations but you could easily design them to be RSVP cards. I also ordered 140 return address labels for just the price of shipping and then 250 business cards for the same deal and I'm using these as name cards.

I have been very impressed with the quality and the service. The great value comes because the company primarily sells to businesses but there is loads of choice regarding design and layout that easily make their products great for weddings too.

To keep postage down I always chose the longest shipping time - quoted as 21 days - but it never took this long.

Strangely I've just posted all my invitations today - the big day is on the 30th April. Not long now!

    Hope this helps

  • Hi!
I did the wedding invitations using microsoft publisher. Each page was saved as a graphics file then sent to photobox to print out. (See http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/2610854). It came to 12p or so an invite.
    Good luck!

Hi, i got mine made for me by a seller on ebay. they where all made with handmade paper with petals in the paper, then an insert in the middle with my wording inside. each one was wrapped with a pink ribbon (my theme was pink, but she does other colours)
I got about 50 invites and it cost me 30 quid. if you want the sellers name etc... pm me! (and by the way it isn't me!)

  • Have you checked on confetti.co.uk I am sure you will find someone recommending somewhere in the chat forums. Personally I wouldn't recommend buying from confetti direct though, I received questionable service!

We got all ours from Studio Cards. You had to write in them yourself but we just chose a font, colour and wording, set the printer up and away we went! Very easy to do.
