Buying a Ticket in the UK for someone in South Africa?

Wonder if its possible - maybe cheaper - to buy a ticket for my mom coming to the UK. She is coming from Johannesburg in South Africa and proposed dates are

July 7, 2006 for +- 1 Month.

Can anyone help me with this ? -

Just basically wondering if its possible and if so what sort of prices am I looking at?

I should ask a travel agent as I don't think it is possible.

We flew klm to Jo'burg last May cost £450 each and they were excellent. We flew from our regional airport to amsterdam then out to SA. When we checked in they allocated seats and gave us boarding cards for both flights and the return ones. Easy swap at AM and didn't see luggage again till we arrived. It hardly cost any more and didn't have a long drive from Heathrow. You can price up on their web site, swap the days round and it gives different fares. Hope she has a nice trip.

If you get in touch with The friendship assoc. https://www.friendship-associations.co.uk they can arrange flights to and from S.A. and you can pay for S.A. residents to come over, or they can pay for U.K. nats to go there. I have used them and have found them helpful, [they also do a free insurance if you become a member,!! nominal sum} for named close family members to fly free in case of emergency]
