New To Vodaphone Network

I am have recently passed over to Vodaphone network.I would like 2 know if their are any other good benefits than stop the clock n free week ends calls.I was out raged last night as I was talking to another person on the same number. All my 5 pound credit ran out in 24 mins.Previously I have been with 02 network.02 to O is far cheaper than ringing other networks.I was on the phone complaing cause I assumed that all networks operate in this way.The lady said to me no it is a standered rate 25p a min to all networks including voda to voda.
How unfair is this.

i was in your situation and got that mad at having to put £5 credit on every few days i went to one of thsoe sim only contracts that alot of the phone companys now offer.. I think i am now paying £20 a month for around 800 mins and texts..
  • I know about the sim only deals can be good. The only thing is I can still go over my allowance n get charged for it.I want to stay with pay as you go as once I run out of credit I get cut off.I am looking forward to my free weekend call this week though. It is amazing how quick 5 pound credit can go on voda.

What made you move to Vodafone? I think they have one of the most expensive PAYG tariffs available!

I moved from Voda to Asda PAYG a couple of months ago, and it's a lot cheaper (IIRC 4p per text versus 12p!) - and if you get a PAC code from Vodafone you can keep your number. And network coverage is just as good, because Asda use Vodafone as their carrier.
