Adding another driver to insurance

Hi
I hope i have put this in the right place.
My girlfriend has just passed her driving test and i was wondering how much it would cost to add her to mine. She is 45 and i'm 40 but we both live at different addresses at the moment and i was wondering if this would cause problems.
The car would stay parked at mine as i would be using it the majority of the time but she would be able to use it if she needed to.
Thanks

Just call your insurance company.
They'll give you a quote on the spot.
Or you can do it online with some insurers.0 -
At your age I would not anticipate it being expensive.
You are both at a very good age insurance wise, neither too young and risky, or too old and doddery :j0 -
...for the record, it cost something like a tenner to add my gf to mine when she passed (aged 20?) - I'm 2 years older, had three years more experience, but was cursed to be born with testicles, so was already paying through the nose

Thanks for the very fast responses.
