Shower Pump - turns on randomly

I have a question hopefully someone can answer.
I've recently installed a shower pump beneath the bath which supplies the bath taps, and tee'd off of these to a mixer shower. Problem is that when i turn on (or off) any hot tap in the house the pump turns on for a split second.
I suspect I'm missing some sort of valve in the hot water tank. I thought I must have had the right plumbing in before hand since i had a wall-mounted power shower, but i suppose the pump was only ever switched on when it was needed.
Can someone diagnose the issue? if it is a big problem then i'll either put up with it or move the power switch into the bathroom so it can be turned on and off as required.
Thanks in advance

The pump should have a dedicated feed from the hot water cylinder, does it?
If it doesn't the slight movement in water/pressure is triggering the flow switch and making the pump think it's required.
There should also be some Non return valves (NRV's) fitted in there somewhere, a plumber will be along shortly to explain my random selection of words in more detail......0 -
Depends on make of pump, some pumps brands such as stuart turner say not to use them
Pump should have a seperate feed from the rest of the system, it requires a hot feed directly from the top of the hot water cylinder and the cold should be taken from its own connection from the cold water storage tankHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. i think that the problem is as you've both said. i need to check whether the feed is dedicated, i thought it was but obviously it doesn't seem like it is.
thanks for the help so far.0
