    Most children are reassesed at 16-18 and 2/3s lose DLA becase they have to claim as adults and the criteria is very diffrent.

    I would collect as much information from all of those professionals who care for you son to send back with the DLA claim form, visit his peadiatrian and GP to make sure they are both up to date with his current condition so you can use them on his application in the someone who knows him section.
