Fault with Bolier Baxi Combi 80e

I have a faulty bascially the flashing light indicates theres a problem with fan or flue.

There is an LED Panel and a red light is flashing (usually the LED's are constant - not flashing) and according to the drop down panel it indicates a fan or flue fault.

Anyone help me out with this one?

It's quite common for the fan to stop working on this model, was the boiler getting quite noisy ? vibrating ?
If the fan has been vibrating then it's quite possible that one of the wires going to the fan has broken, usualy at the spade connector, but its not always obvious, as the wire breaks inside its casing.
Or it could be the pressure switch, which operates the fan.

there are other reasons, but I think this is most likley to be your problem.

easy job for a gas engineer.

easy job for a gas engineer.

cheers, a guy coming at 1.30 today, as far as I recall there wasn't any more noise than usual coming from the boiler.
