Idiots parking continually on double yellow lines

I live in a very small town where traffic wardens haven't been for as long as I can remember so there are idiots - the same all the time that park on double yellow lines and stop the free flow of traffic on one road in particular.

If I call the police are they obliged to attend and issue tickets or do I call the traffic warden section or what:mad:

Depends whether the lines have been decriminalised in your area, which would then take them out of the Police remit. I would suggest a call to your local council to start the ball rolling and then leave it with them to take appropriate action.

No and they a small hardcore all look very fit to me

I feel like a right miserable moaning git but these people seem to do other inconsiderate things. Since my first post one parked half way across the pavement to go shopping and there is a lady on a mobilty scooter that regularly goes up and down at that point.
