Boots

sure there was a thread on here re boots home delivery but i can't find it.

anyway, my order came this morrning, with 3 items missing, so rang customer services who are adamant they are in the box. which they are not, i could hardly miss 2 rolls of wrapping paper and a box of fairy lights.

horrid and unhelpful on the phone. waiting for a supervisor to ring me back now.

I have always found Boots very helpful, if you tell them what you want! otherwise they don't see to know, I'd suggest directly asking for the missing items to be sent or a refund applied to your card

I'm not impressed with them at the moment either. I placed an order on 8th December, which included two little fibreoptic Xmas trees.

Order arrived yesterday while I was out & they've only sent me one tree, even though the dispatch note says 2 have been sent. There's nothing to indicate they are sending one separately.

OK, mistakes happen, but since yesterday afternoon I have been trying to ring & I just cannot get through to a real person. the longest I was on hold for yesterday was 1/2 an hour before hanging up, and another 12 minutes this morning. I know it's Christmas & they're busy, but I think that it totally unacceptable. :(

Hubby used to supervise a call centre & he said he'd have been shot if he'd allowed that to happen.

So now I have resorted to an email to customer care...I'm not betting on getting an answer anytime soon. And just to confuse things, my account still (wrongly) says the order is being processed at the warehouse...so that will confuse them when they do contact me.

...'Even though I am looking at it as we speak...well, some of it anyway'

Isn't it stupid? YOU know you have your order, THEY know you have your order because you told them, yet they are paralysed by the wonders of modern technology.
As that awful bank employee woman in Little Britain loves to say: 'Computer says no...' ::)

    Well I love Boots.com :)

I ordered a freeview box on 15th Dec and it arrived today.

To make my order upto £40 for free delivery I added a nother item for £2.79 which was BOGOF.

Set top box delivered and 1 item of the BOGOF. The first item I put in for the BOGOF offer was out of stock but the second item which was just a different variety was in stock. To compensate Boots didn't charge me for the undelivered item, gave me a £5 voucher, free postage, applied the 10% discount to the full purchase price of £41 and gave full points.

My set top box cost just £34 less £5 gift voucher and £5 in points. Best of all they did this without me asking! ;D

    Good work Boots.com
