vent about local gang

Can only give sympathy I'm afraid, a similar thing happened to my son when he was 16 & 2 drunken kids he was at school with had a go and assaulted him. The Police did come around & although the lady was very nice she said basically it was his word against theirs with no witnesses. My son was very angry feeling that they had no right to touch him and get away with it but there was nothing he could do.
Soon after that they (& more of the gang)followed him on his way home from work, he knocked on a strangers door just to be rid of them, these kind people gave him a lift home (how nice is that)?
As said before this sort of thing is happening all the time, my son took up Karate soon after this and although it may not protect him from knives or a large gang it does give him a degree of confidence.0 -
yeah it was nice of those people to give him a lift, there is still some decent folk around. My son used to do karate but when practising with his dad once, dad didnt defend himself properly and ended up with a broken nose.It put my son off after that.(Also the hospital staff had a giggle when he hadto say his 12 yr old son broke his nose)0
