Sainsburys credit card application question

in Credit cards
I was going to apply for a sainsburys credit card tonight, but noticed that they say that if you have been declined for credit in the last month then you should not apply Does anyone know why this is? I applied for a mint card but they stuffed up my address and because I amended it on the credit agreement they say that they cant confirm my address and have delined me, this was the other day. Should I apply for the sainsburys now or wait a month??

Would assume they mean if you have applied for the same card within this time period, up to you whether you want to wait a month and lose a month's stooze/0% etc, depends what you want the card for and how urgently. Personally I'd go for it and appeal if necessary0

I have now sorted it out with Mint and they are going to give me a card after all!!
Totally ridiculous, they said that they could not confirm my address, yet I have had a tesco card with them for a year! I am going to aply for the sainsburys too and see what happens.0
