Hey was just wondering if for every win you get a different pleasure card. I claimed mine (which i never received) and now i am wanting to claim another but the option it gives me is claim my pleasure card, reset application and return to hime page.

just received this from the isp investigation:

Statement from the ISP about the Wall’s Win a £1million Magnum Promotion Spring 2009

The Magnum “Win a share of a £1million “promotion required the texting of unique numbers found on the sticks of Magnum ice creams. Every hour of the day for 91 days, 25 entrants were drawn and they were awarded a prize of £ 10, £20, £50 or £1000 (just two of these per day). Winners were then sent notification of their win via email or text along with a unique Claim code.

In early April and after receiving a large number of consumer complaints about the above promotion, The Institute of Sales Promotion initiated an enquiry into the operation of this promotion that was run by Walls/Unilever.

The consumer complaints were indicating that from a few days into the promotion no winners were being notified nor winning codes issued.

The agency involved informed us that there had indeed been a major problem with the administration of the promotion and that the selection of hourly winners and the issuing of winning numbers had indeed been suspended from 15th April due to contractual problems with the fulfilment / operations company. This suspension lasted until 13th May 2009.

As of that date, normal service has been resumed. The backlog of entries and draw, which had accumulated since the promotion was put on hold, has now been cleared and all necessary draws have now been conducted. All resulting wins have been notified by email or text.

All applicants since 13th May, will be informed of wins or losses within 72 hours of their application as per the terms and conditions.

At all times the promoter has stated that they fully stand behind the promotion and that all prize winners will be fulfilled and that the £1m prize fund is valid and will be made available as necessary regardless of the cost.

There remains a backlog in the fulfilment of the prizes. New cards have been ordered as a matter of urgency and ALL EXISTING WINNERS WILL RECEIVE THEIR CARDS BY EARLY JUNE. THESE WILL BE VALID FOR 12 MONTHS FROM DATE OF ISSUE AS PER THE Ts & Cs.

In addition Wall’s are also prioritising the despatch of cards to those who won earliest, those who have complained so far and attempting to aggregate multiple wins from the same person onto one card, to optimise use of cards still further.

They accept that their Customer Careline has not been totally effective or well informed at all times and have taken steps to improve this as well.

The ISP will be monitoring the continuing execution of this activity to ensure it is fully back on track.

The ISP is committed to the execution and administration of promotional marketing campaigns being carried out in a manner which does not disadvantage or confuse the consumer.

In this case there were major difficulties with a supplier which did necessitate the promotion being put on hold. The ISP accepts that the commitment of the promoter to the promotion and their efforts to get the promotion up and running again and the consumer satisfied although this did take time to resolve. We are satisfied that no legitimate entry has been either lost or overlooked in the appropriate draw and that all claims will be met in time.
