I've just been down to Sainbury's, their latest leaflet does show magnum's at half price,

I grabbed a box and paid full price at the checkout, then went straight to the help desk and said "ey up arn't these supposed to be half price" pointing to the leaflet,

after about 20 mins of umming and arring, they came to the conclusion that the leaflet was a mistake but they gave me £1 back

I cheekily said "so can I get another 10 boxes at 99p each" fully expecting a no, they said "yes" :j

I did laugh as I was walking out to see a few of the staff running around collecting all the leaflets they could find. (apparently beer is mispriced too)

so if anyone wants to run the gauntlet and get magnums at reduced price, grab a leaflet and try your luck at sainsbury's :rotfl:

thanks for confirming as i know my leaflet does but i was starting to think people would think i was telling a lie...as no one could find them today. i wont give the heads up anymore until i can see it for myself.

blimey,when i spend £10 on magnums i feel naughty.

Although if i had kids and a chest freezer i would prob be doin the same.

Don'tthink i can compete with the big guns though,

Was upset when my local tesco only had none conmping boxes yesterday and the one in town had completely run out.
