I have a roof that is leaking and has been for quite some time now. In fact the plaster is dropping off the ceiling, it's become a hard hat area. Is there any help I can get with repairing this as I am struggling to get the money together to pay for it and by the time I have the money the chances are it will of totally have fallen through. It's getting quite worrying.
So does anyone if there is any help out there, please?

Hi there
Not sure if this would depend on your personal circumstances, but maybe your local council has links on their website for some sort of grants.;)
They deal with homeowners as well.
Good luck.

Sorry to up date so late. My local council does have links but only for those who are aged 60 and over. I'm trying to avoid taking on more debt as it can turn into a vicious circle if I do and spiral out of control. Had my fingers well and truly burnt in that area, scared to death now of it happening again, but thanks for your post, much appreciated.Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p

Hi there
I am so sorry to hear of this.
I did not realise there was an age limit, but glad you found out though in case of others asking, so thanks for that.;)
Yes best to avoid taking on more debt, and I know what you mean, me too getting the fingers burnt, not worth going through all that again.
Good luck with this anyway and hope this soon resolved.;)
