Well, got a letter from HSBC this morning! Thought it was my card but they now want more documentation!

My worry is they are going to refuse me!
My interest free period expires on the 21st March so I'm praying it is completed by then. I applied for the card on January 31st! :eek:0 -

I have only just seen your post. Thank you for letting us know how you have been getting on.
Just want to say that you have and are doing so incredibly well and I really admire your effort and perseverence. You really have been chomping away at that balance!
This is encouraging for me too.
Thank you and well done you!

Got a new Capital One card through today and while activating it they offered me a balance transfer as I expected!
Unfortunately they couldn't offer me anything worth taking which is a bit of a bummer but not the end of the world. :doh:0 -

Got a letter friday morning asking for more proof of ID! Bank statements that sort of thing. They already had a payslip and phone bill! Got a feeling they are gonna end up blowing me out!
Thats all I need! Got until the 21st this month until the Amazon card starts charging interest! :eek:0 -
We completely failed to take the right paperwork! OH went into the bank with his passport and the water bill, they took copies there and then. Might be quicker than posting stuff? Also, I think I read somewhere that in branch they might be able to get a hurry on the details to BT your balance.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0

ooer doesn't leave much time does it..have you got a plan b if it doesn't come through? I saw marie suggested asking for lower rate on your existing card(s) we did try this but it was a no go for us  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. You're cracking on so well with your debts Its great to see your total falling away
but it's so annoying when it all falls into place and you have a plan then someone says no it messes it all up!!Keep at it though as I'm looking forward to us celebrating our DFD

Phoned up Tesco to try and transfer my Egg balance to them for 7.9% but they wanted 15.9%!
Tried calling his bluff by asking for my credit limit to be reduced to £600 but he didn't buy it! Well suppose thats £400 of potential debt gone though!
