Less Than £31,000 To Go!

Am below the £31,000 barrier and hopefully in the next six weeks that will be below £30,000 which will be a massive psychological boost and rather needed at the moment!
Thought I would have £100 or so extra to throw at my Egg card this month but have only made an extra payment of £20! Will have to go through my spending diary to see where that went wrong!
But I'm getting there slowly. Am waiting on my new HSBC 0% for 9 months card! Should be here any day. Not sure of the limit yet but am hoping it will cover the Amzaon card. When I know whats happening I will then be ringing around the other companies to see if they can offer me anything!
Heres what I owed at worst, and what I owe now!
22nd September 2005
Egg (Limit - £8,600) £2,933.02
Capital One (Limit - £10,300) £8,093.97

I am feeling a bit carp about things at the moment! Shouldn't be really I guess coz this is the least debt I've been in since god knows when but it has been a tough 5-6 months!
Like you say, just need to keep my pecker up! I think when I go sub £30,000 it will be a massive boost so am looking towards that first and foremost!

Yes well done SOuthern Scouser you have done so well! It can be hard to keep the momentum going but it is also quite a personal challenge. It's like going on a fitness regime for a few years to train yourself for the rest of your life on how to live within the means. That's how I am looking at, I have been thinking along the same lines as you - can't wait until I'm in the sub-30k club too, looks like there are a few of us around!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0
