Check the batteries on the keyboard and mouse, get them to re-connect with the receiver and double check the connections with the computer. If that still doesn't work take it back to where you got it from for a replacement or a refund.

Yeah---done the batteries and the re-connect but although the receiver light flashes when the mouse or keyboard is used nowt else happens.
Got it from amazon but it's always a bum ache sending stuff back.
    Cheers;)

Sounds like a driver issue if the receiver is finding the signal. Try reinstalling either by using the disk if you got one, or by deleting from the device manager and letting windows reinstall. After this you will need to reconnect using the buttons on each device. This usually works.

I've deleted the device from device manager and connected again but still no luck.
Does it matter if the original mouse and keyboard are still connected??;)

If they´re usb then no, but another wiresless set may cause a conflict.

Not being funny but you are resetting the connection by simultaneosly presing the buttons on each device

No offence taken:D--yes with some juggling, both buttons at the same time. but it's looking like a fault which is a shame 'cos I was looking forward to decluttering a bit.

odd that both are not working, which presumably means its the receiver. Only other thing I can suggest is to reboot after the driver reinstall, and then try resetting a couple more times. This has worked with mine when I´ve had problems

Thanks---tried the reboot but it just isn't going to happen--I can only assume that maybe there is a wiring fault in the usb which is stopping traffic back to the PC from the receiver:beer::beer:
