Post Office Insurance Price Hike!!!!

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is legal ot not?

I took out a Life, Accident, Sickness and Unemployment cover with Post Office (AXA) in November for £52 per month and just received a letter saying there increasing the premium to £72:eek: . They are also changing the waiting period from 30 days to 60.
Due to my hubby loosing his job last month it was our intention to claim on this policy at the end of the month, so I presume were snookered as cant take a cheaper policy now:mad:

The policy will show if they are allowed to make changes like this. (Though this is becoming the norm these days)

You are correct about not being able to change insurers in the light of the claim in progress.
