help needed to connect 5800 to lappy

i want to try and connect to the internet using my 5800 connected to laptop just for when i am out and about on the odd occasion.

If you have Nokia PC suite installed it should let you use it as a modem once you have connected it via USB cable. (I think).

Would you really want to do that? Wouldnt it be cheaper with a dongle and use free wifi hotspots if available?

Depends on who's his carrier is.
He might have Unlimited Data plan.
Why pay for 2 Mobile Sim cards + a Dongle when what he already has will do. (This *IS* a money saving forum after all!)

i am on o2 with unlimited data plan i have installed nokia PC suite but cannot seem to get it to connect to internet.

please guys help needed, cheers cash.

Hi 1st set up a network on your lappy
2nd name the phone 5800
connect via network connection on phone,
this is how I got my N95 to go on the net.
then once out,
connect to wifi spots using the same method.
it may tell you in your instructions
