News on the wires today that MBNA are upping the BT fee to 3% with a max fee of £75 from 1st April. Not sure if it to apply to all customers though as they say they are trying to deter us stoozers. Still probably worth it though even at £75 if you got a decent credit limits.

I have never done a balance transfer to MBNA and I received a letter detailing these new charges.
So in deterring stoozers, they are penalising their 'normal' customers, good business sense that one!0 -
They are increasing the fee on my A&L card to 2.25% with no max. Previously there was a £50 max, which made large transfers viable.0

My fee has already gone up to 3%0

Worth looking at some of their affinity cards which have not changed yet0
