That's hardly fair I think. I found these whilst looking for a r/c car and posted a link for someone who wanted a scalextric. The prices were good but it was a sale after all.

They are just an independent retailer-hardly ToysRus-who for their reasons had a clearance. Many people have been more than satisfied with Alshobbies.

Is it really necessary to question all e-retailers motives for selling things cheap? It seems some people are either bitter that they 'missed the boat' or can't wait for cybershops to be dominated by major corporations.

Make your own mind up about which group tight_wad falls into. ???

Well, I'm just as happy. The Thunder Bugs set I ordered for my Nephew was delivered on the day after ordering and I was only charged £2.50 for delivery.

Valiant 23 - what are you talking about  ???- I think you have got very defensive & missed the whole point of what I was saying.
I think it's great to get bargains from multi national retailers or small independents - I was not questioning the retailers motives & good luck to all those that ordered, I did not order, nor needed to order as I have bought thousands of pounds worth of slot cars & track over the past five years. I was mearly stating that the retailer was probably not prepared to get the publicity that they got through MSE. Have I said something to annoy you in the past? ???
What camp do I fall in ? I like to get value for money & share what I know with others - is that your camp?
