Merge 2 Virgin Accounts

Hello everyone
I live at home with my parents and I pay for the broadband and my parents for the phone line (see below)
Broadband M @ £18* (current VAT reduction lowers this to £17.62)
*May 1st price increase to £20
Parents 4p plan @ £12.75 (with caller ID)
We want to merge our accounts together into one bill to and get a reduction.
On the virgin website there is a bundle offer for new customers of
Broadband L and phone M for £25
Phoned the contact centre and I could not really understand the guy from a non UK call centre. He said we could not have the new customer £25 offer and he could not tell us how much we would be paying until AFTER we had merged the accounts? I said well what if it is more? He said he cannot say!
Anyone have any ideas or advice? Done this before maybe?
Any help will be greatly received.
Kind regards
Neil

Virgin were supposed to have a policy of the same deals for existing and new customers. If you've been a customer for a while, check the emails they sent you for details.0
