My friend, made a 6 hour long mix and loaded it on to his Ipod, that was connected to the venues PA system.
It worked very well, and only cost an afternoon of my mates time.
    Might be worth considering.

Do you need the DJ for all that time since "There will be a hog roast, disco and band!"
Also consider that many DJs have full time jobs so starting at 4, might limit your choice.
Also remember that a good DJ doesn't just play music, he controls the ambience.... it may be worth paying more for such a special occasion, to ensure the right atmosphere.
Liase with your DJ in advance to ensure he has favourite tracks for the bride and groom, it's your party!!
Most of all, enjoy the day.;)
It's nice to be nice .....

My quotes varied from £175 to £450 and this was the evening only so from about 7pm, so that seems like a fair quote to me.

Thought I'd also mention that they would need to be all set up for 4pm for you as you don't want them setting up while you're eating etc, so they'd need to get there pretty early to be ready from 4pm.
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!
