Has Anyone Else Had This Problem With Sky Broadband

I keep getting other peoples email in my spam filter everday, how can this happen, anyone with an email address starting with n. ends up in there. ive got enough of my own spam without getting anyone elses, and its all about buying perscription drugs, usually from canada, and its just a basic email with a link, not proffesional at all

    If yuo are getting other peoples email, I would recommend you report it to sky.

    Have you checked the email header to make sure your email address is not shown as a Bcc: recipient?

    IIRC, some email clients don't display your address if you are, only the To: recipient.

    It's quite normal to get spam apparently not addressed to you. What appears in the To: line isn't necessarily where the message goes. It's similar to way you could write a letter to one person but write a different name on the envelope so it would be delivered to someone else.

    I'm surprised you are having a spam problem with Sky email as it's basically the same as Google. I use them both and find them excellent. Have you tried logging in to the Sky web mail interface to view your incoming mail before downloading it? You can mark it as spam from there and then it should not trouble you again.
