    It's often possible to get a voucher for a free eye test from Dolland & Aitcheson (sp?) I've seen them in Tesco magazine and I'm sure there's an online one as well.

    Hi Chris,

    I got my eyes tested free at one of the branches of Optical Express; not specialised I know, but worth giving a try maybe if you have one local to you to see if they give you a decent service?
