Car finance mess up
Comments
-
I'd have walked to the garage leaving the keys at home.
I would have offered it back as soon as they return the part ex'd one.0 -
I have to say I wouldn't give them the car either.
So they basically admitted that the mistake was on their side? Did they say whether they already sold your car?
Are you short on any payments appart from the money for your old car? Like did you pay the first installment already or something.
I feel that you showed good will by telling them about their mistake in the first place and they are not treating you back with the same consideration.
Who is the finance with and how is your credit rating? As the car companies quite often use quite hight APR loan companies, they are not as fussy as top notch loan companies. Do you think there is any reason why you cannot get finance? It still doesn't add up - if they checked you out, they must have done it by the name and not by the house number!!0
