I spent ages writing a long description for one of my items and then submitted it and it was fine. But the next time I checked it had gone! So I re-wrote it and submitted it and it was fine, but the next time I checked it was gone again!
Has anyone had this before? It's highly annoying as it's on my most expensive item. My fiance says it isn't him.

The only time I've heard of it is when an account has been hijacked. Have you checked and selected the 'Seller's other items' button? There was a scammer yesterday ( see HERE ) that kept deleting the genuine account holder's items.
Otherwise, it's your b/f taking the mick. Tell him that you've been on to ebay and they're investigating who's accessed your account - that might frighten him into admitting it! :rotfl:I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0

That is a weird one... Can't help you apart from it may just be a glitch and will go away soon?? Usually though the whole auction is missing at the start, not just bits of it. I thought every time you edit your auction some writing is added that says last edited etc. You don't want an expensive item with a string of edits do you? May start looking dodgy.
Ooh, are you writing it in white font? I'd contact Ebay - you should at least get your fees back if it is their fault. Makes you wonder though. I never check my auctions... I got used to my brother having a peek when I first started and never had problems, so am assuming there are no problems.
I hope you get some help with it soon...:wall:0

It's just ahppened again, and my fiance isn't home so it can't be him. I don't see how it could be a scammer, as I haven't done anything not-safe and it's only this one item.
I've got round it for now by posting the proper description as an answer to a question on the item.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
