Nope - one petrol station said they would do it and Radio One were asking people to phone in to see who it was - not a very nice trick if it is a trick considering it will cost people money to do this! I would have thought the BBC would have more sense.

Yes thanks I am not thick! I know what day it is. All I am saying is that if it is a trick it is a bit naughty if it is enouraging folks to call in - especially after the all the trouble the BBC and CM has been in recently!

Our local radio station (heart fm) did a competition a few weeks ago. They were at stacy bushes petrol station and the first 100 people to get petrol from a certain pump number would have their fuel paid for.

We turned up about 6 cars too late

It's a joke Gingergirl, and given the facts I don't think you can compare it to any of the trouble BBC was in recently...

Much better joke than having a bucket falling on your head as it happens in many places.. Or sitting on a fart cushion (which is more expensive than 1 phone call)... I can continue..
