Which is better for a family holiday- Costa del Sol or Tenerife?

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Chat Forum and this is my first posting.
I would really appreciate some advice- Me, hubby and daughter have won a holiday to Costa del Sol or Tenerife but haven't got a clue as to which one is better.
We would really like to know which place to go to and things to do there as we have never been to either of these places below.

Any advise will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

    Hi,

First thing is to check is if it's a real holiday. There are lots of timeshare "you've won" holidays around.

    Hello
I've been to both and to be honest not much in it. If you need to take your holiday soon then go to Tenerife as it has a hotter climate than the Costa del Sol. Wider choice in the Costa del sol for water parks/zoos really depends what your bag is i guess.
    have a good time!

    Hi,
Yes, it is a "time-share" holiday i'm afraid- am really new to this so don't have a clue if it's worth taking up.
the accomodation and flights are free but we have to pay admin fee and airport tax, etc.

is it really worth taking up?????

If you won a competition that you didn't enter, then beware.
You will have to spend money, which would probably buy you an alternative.
You will suffer high pressure sales tactics.
You will have to go to see timeshares.
