Only problem is that despite being spayed my female bunny is a moody mare at the best of times and any affection (either way) has to be on her terms - or else you will get a nip. Although to be fair on a bad day she will bite just for the hell of it. litteraly come to you purely to nip you then run off. Or sit and cuddle nicely for ages then go nuts and scratch and bite.
So I'm a bit wary of subjecting another rabbit to her unpredictable moods 24hrs a day. Did talk to the vet about it last time we were there and he said if she was his he probably wouldn't get another due to her attitude problems.
Unless anyone knows a rabbit beheviour therepist? When she's good she's very very good, when she's bad she is an evil little beast but we love her very much and wouldn't be without her.
i'm not convinced that her behaviour towards humans would be the same as her behaviour towards another rabbit...if she was mine I would consider trying her with another rabbit under VERY closley monitored conditions to ensure no harm came to either rabbit...I am not an expert though so might be best to discuss further with vet/someone expperienced with pairing rabbits.August grocery challenge: £50

Hi All,
Thanks very much for all your advice, I think I will get her a friend because I do feel sorry for her hopping round the garden all on her own. I can tell she would probably like company because she harrasses the cats when they are around but they don't really understand her and don't make very good substitute rabbits!
So the next step would be to book her in at the vets but that going to cost £65 so I will need to save up for the next couple of months. Hopefully this will make her less tempremental though to be honest shes not that bad, just your typical non cuddly rabbit.
So my next question is, where would I find a rabbit rescue near to Skipton (preferably within bus or train distance!)
Thanks Emma0 -

Its bizarre isn't it....cos then people just think "It's that old rabbit thread again" and the new OP's specific question gets lost within it.August grocery challenge: £50

I've mentioned this a couple of times before. It makes the threads really difficult to read.Threadhead0
