I'd have a look up Sinclair Road and the roads off it. Lots of residents/Pay and Display parking that I think is free on Sundays.
Sinclair Road is the one "out the back" that leads north up to Shepherd's Bush Green.

This confirms what rdwarr wrote, controlled parking zones in Hammersmith & Fulham operate from Mon to Fri or from Mon to Sat, so you can park for free on Sundays.

Single yellow lines - you can park there on Sundays usually, but check the signs. We've never had a problem.
