will i have been over paid ctc + wtc?

hi im bit confused!!!last year we informed tax credits our income for this year would be 13000 but due to my husband getting someovertime over xmas etc, weve noticed on payslip this will now actually be 14500!!will we have been overpaid alot?or has this new 25000 disregard come into effect?worrying now as tax year end is so close!

    you wont be owing them anything, as that is still below the point where they start to make deductions, based on income

    That rule only applies where ctc only is claimed.

    Is your tax credit award for this year based on the previous tax years earnings, or did you ask for it to be recalculated on your estimated earnings of 13K instead? If the latter, you will have been overpaid by £585.
