Problem with Defraggler?

Been doing a bit of housekeeping on the laptop to sort out various issues, and have been running Defraggler.

It seems to get stuck at a certain point and goes over the same 20 files time and time again. I'm reluctant to delete the files as they're HP Documentation and it's an HP Laptop I'm running it on.

Have run CCleaner and Chkdisc before running Defraggler. Have I just been unlucky? Should I re-download the programme and have another go?

I'm not a complete pc novice, but this is stepping out of my comfort and knowledge zone somewhat and any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

    Try defragging from safe mode.
Defrag programs will normally require about 12% free hard disc space in order to function correctly. Let us know how it goes.

Not used Defraggler myself, if you wish to try an alternative, this is quite a good free one.
