Would use the search feature but its playing up for some reason, so apologies as I'm sure this question has been asked before

Anyhow about to buy a new PC and have roughly 4 gb of photos which I can just transfer across on a DVD. What about itunes - have about 8gb of music. Does anyone know the best option for sorting this out?

Grab yourself a cheap external hard drive and back it up to that. Then just import it back when you're done on the new PC after installing iTunes. Your authorisation to play is from iTunes based on your username, and not on files stored locally. Alternatively back up to DVD, 8gb should only take 2 or 3.
