Dont really agree
The fuel costs fell dramatically from last year and the duties need to go up some time, right now seems as good as any.0 -
And why exacly does the duty need to go up? dont we get bent over enough for our fuel in this country!:mad:0

I think that was the refineries that were hiking the price up not the duty tax.0 -
Slightly changing the subject - I wish they'd put road tax onto fuel (instead of paying a fixed price for it) as that way some of the huge proportion of foreign lorries would be paying something to us for assisting in ruining our roads!0

Stangely my local Tesco put another 1p on fuel today, on top of the 1p it went up last week.0

Are fuel prices in Britain really that high anyway? A comparison in January from the AA across 24 other European countries showed that GB was among the cheapest for unleaded petrol, although diesel was on the high side.
