Hi
Thanks for all your replies.
Update
I now have Cauliflower, Swede, Broccoli, Pansies and Sunflowers all growing nicely in my 2 large propagators.
They are all about ready to be transplanted soon.

My friend has assured me I can use large pots for these vegetables and it will work successfully as long as they are fed/watered well.
He has done it this way himself recently and it worked perfectly.
He warned me about slugs and is going to give me advice on how to stop them getting into my veggies.
So, here's hoping they will all be ok!

Sorry no help with the cheap seeds etc but I just wanted to say you really can't grow cauliflower and swede in pots they need to be in the ground.. things like carrots, lettuce, peas its possible but I don't think the others will grow properly in pots... but good luck ...
Just wondered, what are your concerns with growing cauliflower and swede in large pots/troughs?
