where to buy furniture?

  • Hi,

I want to get some new lounge furniture and my friend recommended this website to me for the Cotswold Company, I think the address is http://www.cotswoldco.com/ and they seem to have some really nice bits of furniture, but I’ve never heard of them.

I just wondered if any one had dealt with them before and could let me know something about the experience before I commit to a purchase!

    Thanks

Try Dunmurry Upholstery, They will make the sofas etc for you and they are actually cheaper than alot of furniture stores and excellent quality

You might also want to try S&L Furniture on the Castlereagh Road, was set up by Sid and Liz, now run by their son Thomas. I went to school with Thomas and he's a decent bloke, worth a look.

  • Ckeck out Keens on the Albertbridge road. Some lovely stuff, with very good customer service. I have one friend who had stuff delivered to Downpatrick. They didn't put the arm in for it and were quick and reliable. Had another friend who bought a sofa shortly before christmas and it only took a few weeks to be delivered. My own experience with them has also been extremely positive.

There is a factory warehouse on the Comber Road Newtownards (just before Lidl) has warehouse full of tables and chairs, sofas, sideboards - really worth a look most have imperfections but they aren't obvious! Really reasonable prices & modern as well!

If you want good pure solid oak furniture, Curio Interiors on the dublin road in Belfast have some exceptional pieces (none of that cheap flat pack veneer stuff) with next day delivery. Ive seen similar stuff on the Lisburn road at double the price. They've got a detailed website! For upholsterey Hanna & Browne can be very good
