Scratches on black dishwasher

Can anyone tell me if it's poss to remove a scratch or 2 from my black dishwasher? It's scratched on both the metal painted door, & the plastic control panel. Cheers.

If the paint thats scratched through to the bare metal then no. you can paint it but thats about it. Not sure what can be done with plastic.

Hi, the paint hasn't been scratched right thru to the metal, I was thinking of using some sort of paint, maybe the type used on cars? The plastic seems to have improved with the application of toothpaste, which seems to have smoothed it down a bit! Cheers for your reply.
